BREWVIEW ON BOCKOR OMER

OMER. Traditional Blond is a topfermented beer with a secondary fermentation in the bottle, brewed according to an original recipe. It contains carefully selected ingredients, such as high-quality malted barley from the Loire region (France) and three varieties of aromatic hops. It is a full flavoured beer with a fruity aroma and a subtle bitterness.

OMER. Traditional Blond has a golden colour and contains 8% vol. alc. Enjoy OMER. Traditional blond by drinking it as fresh as possible. Store the bottles cool, and away from direct light.

Pour the beer slowly allowing the freshness of the hops to fully emerge and leave approximately 1 cm of beer (the lees) in the bottle. The ideal serving temperature is between 6 and 8°C.

APPEARANCE / THE POUR:
Pours a light golden color with a 2-3 finger dense head that lasts throughout the drinking experience- very good sign. Excellent, dense Brussels lace on the sides of the glass as the beer is consumed.

AROMA / BOUQUET:
Fruity, citrus, almost a Champagne bouquet.

TASTE:
We could use all the different flavor descriptives here, however we find one word to describe this beer: SOPHISTICATED.

MOUTHFEEL / PALATE:
Soft, gentle, delicate. Even though this is a triple hopped beer, the hop bitterness is well balanced.

FOOD PAIRING SUGGESTIONS:
APPETIZERS:  Pear and Blue cheese salad. ENTRÈES: Paling in ‘t groen (Eels in green sauce), Pork tenderloin. DESSERTS: Anything with lemons or other citrus.

OVERALL IMPRESSION:
You can really tell that Bockor has gone out of its way to use the finest raw materials in this beer. We feel it is WORLD CLASS… seek this one out for sure!
